  1. Download the Runner (.zip) and extract it to a folder of your choice — keep all the files together.
  2. Open MT5 and sign in to your DEMO or LIVE account. Keep MT5 open the whole time the bot runs.
  3. Run Start-OctoRunner.cmd (double-click) or OctoRunner.exe from the extracted folder. If Windows shows a SmartScreen warning, choose More info → Run anyway.
  4. Nothing to type: the file you just downloaded is already signed in as your account. If MT5 is still closed, the Runner waits for it and retries by itself.
  5. Start the bot, and keep the Runner window open while it trades. If anything looks wrong, open octo_runner.log in the same folder — every message the Runner prints is saved there.

Keep this download to yourself — it carries your own login. If you change your password on this site, download the Runner again.
